Legend has it that the Pembroke Welsh Corgi is an “enchanted” dog of the Fay. It is said that children had stumbled across the dogs, a gift from the fairies. At first, the dogs were assumed to be foxes. The Corgis were used by the fairies and elves of Wales to pull fairy coaches, attend to fairies sheep, and engage in other activities.
