Thankful

As soon as Summer is over the holidays descend on us in a blink of an eye. Before you know it, the new year is here. I have so much to be thankful for including a few real friends, having my own business, which I love and getting positive feedback for my art work. Oh, and I have an amazing daughter who will have a birthday soon. :)
Sure I had a few setbacks, but you take it as a lesson learned and move on.

I was invited to a home for Thanksgiving in Soho (NYC) by a film maker and designer. They had approximately 20 people in their gorgeous loft, mostly family and a few friends. A well known TV actress who I did not recognize was also there. The next day I learned who she was and felt embarrassed that I did not recognize her.
I did watch the show she was in back in the 90s, that was humorous and down to earth. Wonderful actress!
It was nice to be around intellectuals and discuss ideas, films and current events.

I am always grateful.
