A beautiful day in NYC, perfect to take a ride on a boat or ferry in the East or Hudson Rivers. In the photo I shot, you can see old New York mingling with the new New York. The pristine towers of steel and glass glisten in the sunlight, distinguishing themselves sharply from the weathered, brick and stone towers. Both are quite beautiful.
To the right is the Brooklyn Bridge, which is an astonishing 153 years old! The bridge opened on May 24, 1883, and was designed by John Augustus Roebling. When visiting our great city, be sure to take a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and enjoy one of the many restaurants along the river.
