End Game?

Who would ever imagine that this miraculous little creature that we all grew up with can possibly be on the endangered species list? Shameful!

Not only is the Monarch Butterfly exquisite, but the journey they make from Mexico to the northern parts of the USA, is astonishing. Think about that?

Where are we headed as human beings and what are we doing? The average lifespan for a human worldwide is 72 years! That is a blip! Reptiles and birds live much longer than us, yet we continue to destroy their habitat and every living being around us. And for what?

Let's all plant milkweed for starters!

We need to do better for the future of our beautiful green and blue planet.

  • The iconic black and orange monarch butterfly is threatened with extinction because of habitat destruction and climate change, international conservationists said on Thursday.
  • The monarch butterfly, known for its annual migration across North America, was placed in the endangered category of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature’s Red List of Threatened Species.
  • More than 40,000 species are now threatened with extinction, according to the IUCN, as scientists warn that the Earth is undergoing a sixth mass extinction event driven by human activity.
